I’ve spent nearly a decade living in the Blue Ridge Mountains so I always love being able to capture weddings in the area. I was especially excited to being here for Bismah & Saboor’s Desi winter wedding. The details of their Blue Ridge Mountain wedding was beautiful. Each of the details they put together at Fairfax Hall stood out in their own unique way. Being able to capture these parts of the day that meant the most to them was really exciting.
Bismah & Saboor have known each other pretty much their entire lives. They decided to get married this December. Although Saboor’s family were unable to attend due to being in India, he was still excited to being able to see his bride for the first time.
Saboor was a dashing groom. His sherwani was a lovely cream color and with embroidered throughout the entire suit. He wore a red turban that complimented everything perfectly. Bismah was absolutely STUNNING as a bride. Her sister did amazing with her hair and makeup while her mom helped her with the finishing touches of putting on her Lehenga. Every detail from her gold jewelry to her bridal henna was perfect once it was all together.
Saboor and Bismah saw each other before the ceremony and rode the carriage together for their entrance into the venue. Their family was absolutely excited to being able to celebrate their union they danced throughout the entire evening. I’m glad that we were able to sneak out for a little bit past sunset to capture some gorgeous night photos of just the two of them because I just had to take advantage of how lovely they look together!
I’m excited about sharing some of my favorite images from their day.
Congratulations to Bismah and Saboor! It was an honor being able to capture your wedding and I wish all the love and joy for years to come!
