Today, I had to choose between doing a silhouette picture, or a picture of something that I’m obsessed with.  So I definitely chose obsession.  🙂

While I wouldn’t say that I’m OBSESSED with Ice Cream, I have to say that I like it a LOT, and I mean a LOT.  I joke with some friends of mine and say that if a guy decided to propose to me with a pint of Haagen Daz Vanilla Swiss Almond Ice Cream, he’d get an automatic yes.  He wouldn’t have to do anything else.  It’s really just a joke though (or is it? :p). 

I could easily eat a pint of ice cream in one sitting.  There are periods of times where I would go through 2-4 pints over the course of a couple of days.  It’s insane.  I do demonstrate self control at times and I would go a couple of weeks or so without it.  Then, I often decide to treat myself with Vanilla Swiss Almond as a reward of something that I’ve done. 

While Vanilla Swiss Almond is my favorite, there are some notable mentions like Chocolate Chip and White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle.  I would eat just about any kind of ice cream within reasonable combinations of Vanilla.  I’m not a big chocolate ice cream person.  It has to actually be pure chocolate ice cream for me to enjoy it.

Anyways, about the specs of this image.  I probably should’ve been placing the image specs in each post,  but I took it with my 85mm 1.8, shutter of 1/50, F/1.8, ISO 800.

I decided to keep it in color because I figured with the simplicity of the background, there really isn’t much to distract from the subject itself. =)
