A Beautiful Spring Wedding Day 

April 16 was absolutely the most perfect day for a Virginia Cliffe Inn Wedding. It was actually my first time here. I’ve always known of the Virginia Cliffe Inn, and I’ve done a wedding at the Cultural Arts Center right next door, but I never got the chance to experience all of its beauty until Emily & Justin’s wedding.  

One of the things that I absolutely loved about Emily & Justin’s day was how much they incorporated amethyst and the overall purple theme for their day. It’s one of my favorite wedding palettes. It makes such the perfect pop and can pretty much blend in with just about any color. It so happens to be Emily’s favorite color too, which is obviously why she picked it. 

Emily & Justin have been together for a little over 9 years by the time their wedding day came and they were so excited to finally get married. When I talked with Emily before their day, she mentioned how reserved Justin was. But when I arrived to capture him getting ready, he was so happy, excited and willing to do whatever it took to bring a smile to Emily’s face. He was such a dashing groom and you can tell that he was so in love.

 

Emily was STUNNING in her gown and she was the most gorgeous bride. She went all out for the details that she wore on their wedding day. Between the details of her gown, to her cathedral veil.  It was exciting to have the opportunity to witness them see each other for the first time. They were able to fully enjoy each other during their day and they celebrated a joyous union that was years in the making.

Congratulations to Emily & Justin! I am so glad that I had the opportunity to be your photographer and I wish you both all the joy and happiness! I can’t wait to witness the beautiful journey that these two have as a married couple with one of their first journeys include touring Europe for two weeks.
